Accommodations
All wedding events will take place at Cigarral de las Mercedes, our wedding venue and a boutique hotel overlooking Toledo. We have reserved the entire hotel for our guests and would love for as many of you as possible to stay on-site with us. Because room availability is limited, we recommend booking early through our room block with the link below. If the hotel reaches capacity, we've included several other nearby hotel recommendations below.

Getting to Toledo
We recommend flying into the Madrid-Barajas Airport!
There are several easy ways to get to Toledo from Madrid, including the high-speed train and taxi/Uber. We also plan to provide transportation between Madrid city center and Toledo for our wedding guests. More details will be shared as we get closer to the wedding weekend.
Things To Do in Toledo
HOT AIR BALLOON RIDE
Toledo is known for their hot air balloon rides so enjoy a view of the city from above! We recommend using the companies EoloFly or Globos Boreal.
WINE TASTING
Enjoy a wine tasting at one of Toledo's local vineyards. We recommend either Bodega Martúe or Bodega Casa del Valle.

ARE KIDS WELCOME?
We love your little ones, but the ceremony and reception are adults-only. However, we know some of you will be traveling with kids, so they’re welcome at the Friday cocktail reception and Sunday brunch! We’ll also offer babysitting at the venue during the ceremony if you need it. Please reach out if you have any questions!
WHERE CAN I PARK?
There’s lots of free parking close to the arboretum entrance.
ARE THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION SPACES WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?
Yes! We’ll also have a golf cart available for anyone who needs help getting around the property.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

WHAT SHOES SHOULD I WEAR (OR AVOID)?
Ladies, please skip the stilettos—seriously! There are lots of grassy and dirt areas, so opt for block heels or sandals instead. We don’t want anyone ruining their shoes or twisting an ankle.

WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?
Welcome to Washington, everyone visiting from out of town! The weather here can be unpredictable. Seattle days should be gorgeous, usually around 75–80 degrees, but it gets chilly at night. Please pack some warm layers for the evenings—we don’t want anyone freezing their bu...well, you know what we mean.
IS THE WEDDING INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?
Our wedding ceremony is outdoors, but our reception will be in a tent :)
CAN WE TAKE PHOTOS WITH OUR PHONES AND CAMERAS DURING THE WEDDING?
Yes! We would love for you to take photos and share them on our app, Joy. However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
